I agree with our training regime constantly causing injuries. I've said this for years

But to have a go at us for not winning a trophy? Pathetic

So what, loads of players put tackles in but they don't get called hardmen. Snapping Haaland was the most despicable cowardly thing I've seen on a football pitch, a place where the worst punishment he could receive was a red card. Would have loved to see his "hard man" antics in the real world where he'd get his silly little face rearranged.

the Haaland incident was out of order as probably were many of his other tackles. but he was a superb player, a winner, and exactly the sort of player you need in your team when the going gets tough. it pains me to say it but Souness was exactly that as well which is why the teams Keane and Souness played in won titles. the last one we had of a similar ilk was Reidy and guess what, we won titles with him in the team. its no big secret.

I'm not debating against how good a player he was because you can't debate that, he was awesome. I'm debating him being a monumental bell end with the mother of all chips on his shoulder, and having a "hard man" reputation when he's done nothing in his life to earn it. He ended a player's career with a cowardly tackle. Duncan Ferguson when burglars broke into his house, put them in hospital. That's the sort of person you call a hard man.

not interested in the hard man business myself, I was taking issue with you calling him a coward which he certainly wasn't.

Think most United fans would agree.

Magnificent player, monumental monstrosity as a man.

edit. RAWK Meltdowns words, not mine.

Again, snapping a person on a football pitch, a place where the worst consequence for your actions is a red card, is cowardly. As is walking out on your country in the middle of a World Cup because you don't like cheese butties.

that's one action which doesn't make him a coward on its own. I assume you are taking the p with the 2nd bit.

Just watch him on the champions league highlights show (Roy Keane that is), then you will understand why he has never made it as a manager. Absolute moron of a man - he never praises a keeper for making a great save as, 'he is doing his job.' I mean in that interview he kind of illustrates how stupid he is by saying not sure when the last time everton won a trophy was blah blah blah, by then finishing the sentence by saying, 'I have a lot of respect for Everton.'

The total lack of depth to his analysis is laughable - it really proves how much weight being a retired player carries, he is keeping an intelligent, insightful and eloquent graduate out of punditry solely because he could put in a good slide tackle.

I wished they brought Keane in as a coach at FF and let all the yes men go. Too chummy that lot down there with the likes of Ferguson and Jeffers - mates of the players as coaches. Absurd. No wonder they all look like they cant be arsed shuffling over to close down. It took that lad Gueye's suspension to rub it in how bad they are and how much it takes an outsider coming in to do some hard work.

No doubt the Osman's, Hibberts and Baines of this world will be coaches in the fullness of time down at FF, and the 'avin a laugh lads culture rolls on.

I bet they'd all be petrified of Keane mate yeah

Truth obviously hurts some people, Keane has giving Liverpool plenty of grief over the years and we loved it.

Grow a pair, he is 100% right we are soft and have been since the dogs of war in 1995.
