Most disappointing thing for me was the comment re trophies. Really no need and it had no relevance to the point he was trying to make. He did make some valid points then went a left the media with the wrong soundbite.

The man is an imbecile. Every time he opens his trap he proves it.

Great player, blah blah blah. Fergie shipped him out the minute he was of no use to him.

because he was a great player, something you will understand when you grow up you tit

Erm... no one is questioning Roy Keane the player. We're just calling him out for the bell that he is. Seeing you defend a hugely fraudulent coach who is a utter pleb of a human being, at the expense of Everton Football club, is just bizarre.

That's f'king hysterical.
When did Ireland last win a trophy Keano?
When did Keane last win a trophy as a manager full stop, he is a complete bell and reduced to now only being an assistant,he will never cut it as a manager,I was there when we hammered his Sunderland team 7-1 ,the crowd were singing "Keano give us a wave" strangely he didn't oblige, he is an utter snide and being a wind up merchant and a mouthpiece for O'Neill is just about his forte these days .

Ireland coach Roy Keane has reacted to James McCarthy’s withdrawal from their squad by taking aim at Everton.
Martin O’Neill accused Ronald Koeman of “bleating” about McCarthy last week, and he has since made himself unavailable for Ireland with a hamstring injury.
“We’ve had a problem with Roberto Martinez previously – I always felt the Everton players were going to turn up on crutches,” said Keane.
“They shouldn’t be so quick to stop Irish players coming to play for Ireland.
“(Darron Gibson) misses a hell of a lot of games for Everton… so maybe they need to look at their own training schedule.
“I’m not sure when they last won a trophy, so maybe as a club, their players need to toughen up a bit.”
Explain the valid points please.

Is it the crutches bit? Might be fair enough, but the only player who's been 'on crutches' is Darron "Made of glass, runs over cyclists" Gibson.

Is it the "stop Irish players playing for Ireland bit"? We're not.

Is it the Gibson comment - a player made of glass, as I said, who's been injured more often playing for RoI than for us in the last year?

Honestly, a gigantic tit is what Roy Keane is, to add to that fake hardman he was when he was a player. Hope MON blasts him in the media for it, or Koeman cuz why not? As @roydo said - burnt any bridges between us and the RoI, for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

The valid point being the competing interests of clubs and countries.

Koeman would annihilate him in the media, I'd laugh my balls off if he did. He might do as well.

Right so McCarthy has barely played any football this season and then the republic play him twice in 4 days, as a result he's not been fit to play for Everton. But Everton players are soft? Be interesting what Seamus Coleman thinks of keanes's derogatory remarks towards EFC. Once again Keane opens his mouth before engaging his brain.

Coleman should withdraw from the squad straight away leaving them with Cyrus Christie to play as their right back in competitive football matches.
