Roy Keane is an utter pleb but in some respects i agree with what he has said re players toughening up, not just the context it has been said. To me we do seem to have a soft underbelly to our team, not in relation to injuries but the way we play the game. We are not snidey enough in games and we do seem a little weak in certain areas bar one or two players.

Keane i think has touched on a problem with Everton just not in the right area, our players do need to toughen up but not due to injuries, more so within game management etc.

The manager that made him the player he was. He's vile.

The manager that made him the most expensive player in Britain....err....

Nobody made Keane fella. The most single minded driven footballer in the last half century. 21 year old barely in the Forest dressing room telling seasoned pros (who he knew were coasting) that they were wasters.

Keane was an awesome footballer but a joke as a manager. His opinion is about as valid as @bizzaro 's

My opinion is 100% valid.

Roy Keane talking out of rear end. You don't try to play players who are getting over injury. repetitive injuries they received playing too much - for Ireland including playing injured in a second international game in the same week.

Ireland loss. Everton gain.

Ps. quit mentioning me on the forum. no one is interested. least of all me.

The valid point being the competing interests of clubs and countries.
That would be a very valid point, had it ben any kind of issue.

Koeman said McCarthy is injured and wouldn't want him to play, MON called him an idiot or something similar, now Roy Keane's shared his opinion that no one wanted, belittling us as a club in the process.

I'd get it if he said "oh well it's a bit of an issue when teams don't let players go play for their countries", but 1) we don't do that, 2) he didn't do that, 3) he attacked Everton for literally nothing.

Good guy Roy.

I'm not defending him, I think his trophy comment was needlessly antagonistic.
