Initially I was blaming benetiz for James being up for sale, but it’s obvious by James’ comments, he wants out now his puppet master has gone. I loved seeing James last season but his attitude in the towards the end of the season left a sour taste in my mouth. He offers us something that no other player in the squad has, but if he doesn’t want to be here like Kean, then they need to be moved on, before they become a disruptive influence at the club.

I’m genuinely interested. Can anyone come up with a scenario where a player jumped on a jet during a match of consequence and took off so he could prepare for an international match? Specifically one where he didn’t have to miss the club match but just chose to?

Then bonus points for a scenario where the fans begged for him back and insisted he was committed to the club.

yes he is much better than other midfielders at the club we all know that. But he wants out.
