Used by all managers at some point or other.
Doing it for misconduct , breaches or discipline or Because a move is near are all one thing as is doing it if you’re a team with a big squad look at who is in that squad and we choose to bomb him out for what reason ? Because this bloke doesn’t like him ? Mad

so the best he can come up with is to play our biggest goal threat out of position?

If ManUtd refuse to meet the ridiculous valuation for Trippier, then we will definitely not.
If it is reduced he will got to Man Utd, both sides want to make that happen.

If he goes Utd Brands could get Dalot who he wanted last summer mate.

Richarlison will likely move onto the right mate which I haven't a problem with he's played there a few times for both Silva and Brazil.

Even if we brought in a decent stop gap RB like Trippier who could mean no Coleman for at least half the season I would be happy.

Why would a first choice right back to a title winning La Liga side and England international want to come here?

Exactly, a common theme for years is moaning about players not being committed on the pitch. The current manager appears to have recognised that and sees no place for our most talented player. (that last part is undeniable)

The anger is definitely multiplied because it's Benitez that is shoving him towards the door. If it was Ancelotti (who served up Multiple ganes in which Allardyce would have out entertained him) it would be "Ahhhh, shame it didn't work out. In Carlo we trust."

We'll finish higher up the league this season than last.

We won't lose 9 times at home.

At the end of every game we'll probably be able to say "They all worked hard." (Something people have been crying about for years)
I have watched a side for 18 games this season who "work hard". Since things opened up I have watched them home and away (once) "work hard", they are second bottom of a ten team league having won four games. They are genuinely the hardest working side I have ever seen, problem is hard work can never replace quality and ability. Trust me, you won't long be fed up of saying they work hard while the defeats mount up. Also there isn't a lot of evidence to support the idea that this group of players will work hard, if anything, last season points to the opposite

Why on god's green Earth would you be happy moving our best Inside forward who plays his best football on the Left to the right hand side to accommodate Dwight McNeil

Tripper will cost £20m+ no thanks

Did you watch Richarlison on the left last season?

Lads top class can play anywhere when he's in form as most top players look at Wilf Zaha plays across the front 3.

Standard bloo response in getting rid of any good players we have.

"Doesn't work hard enough"
"Isn't as good as he thinks"
"Disruptive"

Nothing to do with the team full of cloggers around them.
If you've had a season's worth of evidence from James and you cant see that he's not the answer rather than a problem then you aren't paying close enough attention.

Overall he adds nothing.

He's leaving. How difficult is it to understand. He even alludes to leaving himself.

Why should a manager tolerate some one like him...a player who unilaterally informs a club he's off home before the season ends?

Football is a team game for players who act like professionals, not a game for an individual to pick and choose the matches he'd rather play in and get off home when he wants.

He's disruptive and he needs to go. And he will go. Thank goodness.
Although he may be the best player I've ever seen in an blue shirt. I understand why he could be considered baggage in a sense. Attitude aside, If a manager comes in that needs high intensity and players to defend high, it makes sense that James could be a double edged sword.

I think those that watch football can surely see that too.

I get why people are upset. But if we can get someone in with half his creativity and double his defensive rate then I can tactically understand the reasons why.

It also may have been a case that he downed tools without the tactics issue. In which case it's out of our control anyway so best sell him and move on

Just as a side note. Love watching him play for us

Im not opposed to retaining a player like James, as long as they are prepraed to fit in when they get called upon to play a different system.

He clearly doesn;t want that though, which is why the cring get has taken to social media.

No discipline...no place for him at Everton. That's what the manager's told him.

Richarlison is at his best as a Left Forward cutting in on his right foot. You take that away from him on the Right side. McNeil is left footed so i would have him on the right, but if Benitez wants our wide players to be wingers rather than inside forwards then they aren't going to be getting many goals between them.
