All unfounded rumors. Colombia vs Chile game will be over at 330 am on Wednesday. He will travel to Liverpool that Wednesday and have Thurday and Friday to recover. It's not the optimal scenario but it's getting overblown a bit.
That private jet will have full length beds and a physio on board as well as recovery drinks

There has been a sense that English football has become more cosmopolitan and less parochial since the likes of Wenger and a stream of sophisticated continentals came to the Premier League and revolutionised the game. Yet, even today the old inward-looking contempt can be detected. Take James. This lad is world famous, a superstar footballer, yet many people were "unconvinced" by him when he signed for us. Now, if you've been paying attention over the last seven years or so, you'd know James was a magnificent footballer. The only question, really, is would he settle into the culture, the English way of life, and cope with the climate. As a player, he is elite. To listen to some, he was just a pretty face. In a handful of games, he has already installed himself as a leading light of the league. But then, why wouldn't he? He's a class above pretty much everyone in this division.

If he can settle into the environment, and has a bit of luck with injuries, we're going to be watching an all-time club legend. The early signs are spell-binding.
