and city, theres defo more to this than a slight strain!

There isn't.

He just can't be judged as fully fit until he's completed a few sessions with the team.

The team aren't having more than one or two training sessions over the entire Xmas period. They'll probably have one today, and maybe be able to squeeze one in between City and West Ham.

It's all a bit sus when the manager is saying 3 games ago that he's almost ready and "back for the next game", up to even the United game where Carlo then moved on to "if he doesn't make the United game then he's ready for Sheffield United". Now all of a sudden it's shifted once more to "he's not available for the next few games". Very, very weird.

Hope he is having a great xmas new year

He is. Just looking through his window and he's having a great time. The security have just set the dogs on me but I think that's a gesture of goodwill in Colombia so it's all good.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh James
I love you
I proper love you I do
I hope you love me too
Call meeeeeeeeeeeee
maccavennie

Just a little poem I've scribbled down 40,000 times on my wallpaper

It would be if the games weren't a max of 72 hours apart but they are so it isn't really sus at all

People seem unable to grasp that it's genuinely just a minor strain that has come at, typically for us, the busiest time of the season so far.

Very hard to get someone back to fitness when the teams are hardly training.
He's still only been out for a few weeks which is genuinely not a big deal in October but is 6 or 7 games out in December. It's mostly just bad timing.

It is.

He could probably be risked. But that's the thing, it'd be a risk. And he's not a player that we should be taking risks on.

It's a big blow missing him. Realistically, we'd all probably be happy if we can get 5 points from the next 3 games, given the state of the squad atm. Fortunately, our good run before Christmas will ensure that if we can just muddle a few points together and get this spell over with, we'll be there and there abouts still.
