When a manager is picking his team for any particular game it gives him an advantage when he knows for certain what players in the opposing team are definitely missing.I don't get why we're always so coy and secretive when it comes to his injuries. We know he's a crock (great player still), so why try to sugar coat and cover up things? Can't he just say "he's got a [whatever it is] injury, and is expected to miss [estimated number of weeks]".
When Sean Dyche is deciding on his team , his tactics and his formation for Saturday it certainly would make life easier for him if he knew for certain that JR would not play.
At this level small margins make a big difference and if Burnley spend the week preparing to play against JR it throws out their preparations somewhat if he does not play, the reverse is even more true.
