If the manager is incompetent, you need the Board intervening every now and then
How is he incompetent after 1 game?

Our board sat by for long enough and watched Ronkoe almost sink the club with his No. 10 signings, whilst he was off playing golf 2 days a week and distancing himself with the fans and players. They watched Bobby Brown shoes (post 1st season) continually set up the same with no plan B and over use the words "phenomenal" and "intensity".

Rafael is incompetent because he has history with a player and wants to put his own stamp on his team?

He scored three brilliant goals in that run even though he was injured a lot. Goals which should have resulted in wins if not for individual errors from other players in two of those games too.

Now, he wasn't fit enough, but we knew he couldn't stay fit yet Ancelotti came up with no other way of playing. That isn't on James, is it?

If he stays, it would be fantastic because we'd have a world class player and not many sides have that. But if he goes, it may allow us to get other players in. That latter point, however, sums up how crap the club have been run that that's the case. The players we need in are players we've needed in for 2-3 years.
And he will continue to be, either at Everton or (Hopefully, for that reason alone) elsewhere.

I see no point at all in subsidising a really expensive part time player, no matter how talented they are.

What of our other managers before the current one, and if not him who do you sughgest?

Well I was being facetious but it's not like we're a club who 'demands success'

We do the opposite, and when good things come, we get rid of them

I don't mind Benitez. But it's just a very meh appointment which to me shows more ambition to just solidify ourselves safely in mid-table than anything else. Maybe that's what we need.

I just hate the way the club is run. Giving £200k (supposedly) a week to James Rodriguez isn't the issue. It's become an issue because we've hired a manager who doesn't think he's worth it, but also because we've got Gomes, Delph etc on massive wages, and had other players on massive wages that our DoF has failed to get rid of.

26 games last season, still well over half.

Manage him right - i.e. don't start him in every game he's fit for, use him wisely, and you get more games out of him I'd bet. Have other players around him that we missed last year.

Instead it's throw the baby out with the bathwater, but that's Everton.

How we can expect any of those 5 lads including James to play if they need to stay 10 days in isolation plus no training session at all , I don’t see him in rotation before Brighton game

But in how many of those matches was he match fit?
