Like I said, it's one thing with Walcott.
But to do it with a player of James' quality - absolutely friggin insane, given the position we are in and the squad we have, because we wouldn't be able to invest those wages in any more than one decent player so it still wouldn't solve an issue.
I have no issue with people saying if he goes fully it clears wages. Fine, it does. We shouldn't have to do it, but we are where we're at.

I for one hope he stays and i get to see him live. Did more in 25 games last year than 6 or 7 players have done in 3 seasons. We dont get nice things. Lets have him for 20 games this season to fit in the games unlike Saturdays. They wont all be like that. Just watch the anfield win last year . Just needs head down n stay off twitch if he doesn't get his move

I think you're forgetting the one major point here: James doesn't want to be at Everton. He really doesn't. That's why he's using social media to get attention. His link with Everton left to go to Madrid. He isn't interested in this club.
I find it hard to take that people on this forum - fellow Evertonians - are embarrassing themselves by going to bat for this utter waster.
He'll be gone form Everton in a matter oif a fortnight. Good riddance. Then hopefully many of you will come to your senses and crack on. He's not worth a second thought IMO.
