I don't watch Scottish football but why are people fapping about Van Dijk? 23 years old and yet to be capped by Holland? Looking at his record - are people getting excited just because he is a defender who scores goals? I'd prefer someone who can actually defend & Scots Prem is hardly a great benchmark.

I think Roberto is thinking of life without Howard and will sign a long term keeper. Calf injuries are likely to happen again as it is a prominent muscle in kicking, that and I think MLS will be in for him
New(ish) Everton reporter for the Echo, Phil Kirkbride, has been responding to some questions on the live blog today and has mentioned he's going to ask Roberto tomorrow about the possibility of us needing a centre-half. Be interesting to see what he says whether it's a maybe or a flat out no.

Takes time for some players to settle in, I guess. Would love Robles to do a "De Gea", problem is not sure he has that amount of time. Especialy with Bobby saying he is open to bringing in a new keeper this window.
What would be interesting, is if Joel put in a match winning performance against City. Imagine us scraping it 1-0 and him saving us countless times with an epic performance!
