We're looking at Schurlle. Nothing concrete but we're interested - but it'd more than likely have to be a buy unless Atsu goes back to Chelsea, who want £15mil.

Comes from the same people who were spot on about Tadic in the summer. We'll see but he'd be a great signing. Also looking at Gil on loan from Valencia but Schurlle is a target.

It looks by the reports of the teams in for him that he's going back to Germany and would cost 23m not 15m. Not happening although I would love it if it was.

Can't excuse his lack of effort at times though, looked completely not arsed yday.

You can't really use that though, you could then say he's got Championship strikers shooting at him then.

Look at him last season, had a really poor defence infront of him but was still amazing.

There's no reason if we did sign him he won't preform like he did last season, it's just he's only played that good consistently for one season. That's what puts some worries in the back of my head.

I hear what you are saying, and it's all relevant.

But if we're talking about playing well consistently then neither of our keepers can be accused of that either. Howard pulls of amazing saves
occasionally but makes horrendous mistakes too. Robles can look solid for an entire match and then slip up when it matters.

For what it's worth, Marshall has looked good playing for Scotland too.

Schurlle to Everton = Barkley to Chelsea. Why would Chelsea sell him? Unless there getting Ross.....

They sold Lukaku for the right money, why wouldn't they sell Schurlle for the right money? They are a business like every other team, despite their deep pockets.
There doesn't always have to be alterior motives.
