quick question about eto'o. if he is actually going and we get a new striker in, will they be able to play in europa, if they're not cup tied of course.

we have a squad limit and with playing all our fringe players in the krasbastard game, how many slots do we have left?

i really wish we would stop looking at so many youngsters, we're going to buy so many that in 3 years time we won't need to buy anyone for 5 seasons. where's the fun in that?

U21s who've been with the club for x number of months don't count towards the limit, I believe. Has been touted as why Galloway and Henen didn't make the squad.

i have no idea any more, i think there's different rules for europe and prem as well

Agreed. Transfer deadline day is gonna be rubbish! Martinez knows the scottish market well. Missed a couple in gauld and Robertson but heavily scouted them. Garbutt and baines being the reason we probably chose not to sign Robertson and gauld went to sporting Lisbon because he wanted to play continental football. (46 million euro release clause) Jack is considered to be the main prospect in that league. Excellent long term signing I'd think.

Thoughts after tonight for going forward. Robles is ok and given a chance could be good - Baines and coleman on way back. ... Need to have plan b though when teams stop them coming forward . Stones will be class . Jags played well tonight and good for confidence . Barkley - needs to inject more pace and push up more - barry did ok for me tonight - broke up a lot of play - besic another good game and big player for future - naisy usual hard working performance - mcgeady - started well and then madness - must go - rom is getting ha I to his best and looking sharper every game - kev - just class and seemed up for it tonight - keep it up - Oviedo - solid and also good squad player. eto let him go - agent is touting him to clubs so bye bye - james back soon and another couple of players in window and our luck will turn ... Keep the faith

He had amazing close control. They actually refer to him as mini messi in Portugal but as the nickname refers to he is very small. 5"5 I think, even smaller than Lionel. A fantastic footballer though. So two footed and ghosted past players due to his height. It'll definitely be the case of the one that got away I think. Ian Cathro who is valencia's assistant manager at 29 raves about him and persuaded him to move abroad rather than stay in UK. Like a young amair or riquelme who we have always been linked with.

If you're an U21 player, you need to be with the club for two years to be eligible under UEFA rules. Otherwise, you need to be registered as a senior player.

messi's height is fake :P yeah heard all these rave reviews, hence why i want to see more of him. bet he'll play in the prem one day though. do any brits spend their whole career abroad?
