From what I have been reading because Sevilla don't fancy him he may go back to barca and go to a lower rated Spanish side, because of limited game time. Not sure about the legalities of this but legal and barca don't go hand in hand anyway.
Im sure his loan for the season but if they dont fancy him and he aint getting in the barca team any time soon he could defo be the answer the our winger troubles in the summer..we should sign mohamed salah or joel campbell on loan till then and if there loans go well we could always go for permanent on them?

sorting out our defence/keeper position is a bigger concern for me than sorting out the winger position. it's painfully obvious we need another winger like mirallas and well if we swapped atsu for salah so to speak, that would be great business. but it's the mass shipping of goals which is costing us more.

we've scored 2 or more a fair few times this season, the defence has been letting us down though and it's mainly the same 3 culprits.

we won't though. martinez obviously doesn't see howard as the massive liability he actually is, is unwilling to give robles a go and has already stated he won't be buying any defenders. quite astounding imo as we only have 3 1/2 centre backs as alcaraz is never fit, and one of those 3 in distin seems like he could be done. but just a week ago he was great, so we'll see.

if he's got enough faith in galloway/browning not to buy another CB, one of them possibly should be starting now - or at least playing minutes.

With all due respect, exactly what has Ferguson delivered to the team yet in his fledgling coaching capacity ?
He doesn't appear to have turned Rom into the beast that strikes genuine fear into the hearts and minds of opposition defenders, and apart from enjoying a kick-around pre-game and at half time, I'm not seeing too much from him as yet.

I hope his appointment works out for us, and was not made out of a misplaced sense of loyalty because in this day and age, we can't afford sentiment - the club has to be hard-nosed and appoint the best people/coaches to do specific jobs.

lukau's touch and hold up have dramatically increased as the season has gone on. that's only 4 months. people don't learn new languages in 2 or 3 weeks.

Martinez has signed 11 or 12 players since he arrived. Of these, maybe 3 can get into our full team ?

That for me, is a concern.

in his defence, he's bought and looking at a hell of a lot of promising youngsters. i agree we do need to be buying a couple more close to their peak age, but maybe that will come next summer. in his eyes, we just had to do anything to get lukaku and i agree with him, his stats speak for him, he's possibly the greatest young strike prospect in the world. that meant sacrificing the budget and he did a lot of other good deals. we have experienced players in the good areas, it's just they've all been utterly shocking this season all at the same time.

we have a big squad, most of his players are starters at one time or another. robles is young for a keeper and is playing in a position where only 1 can play hence the limited opportunities.

others have been held back by injury.
