probably not in January. Possibly Pienaar if there was anyone leaving. In the summer I think we'll see Distin or Alcaraz leave as well as Pienaar.

Would anyone pay for Pienaar at his age? I haven't seen any rumors. If we cant get any money out of him, better to keep him.

With the exception of barry, they should all be jibbed off.

Not sure about what new talent is out there to sign, but Bobby, can we PLEASE, stop giving extended contracts to our geriatric players. I will start to get a bit peeved off if Osman, Hibbert, Distin , Pienaar, Barry etc are still here when your contract expires (5 years?).
The players I mention have no more than 3 years left in them. By all means don't sign any new players in that time, but if you delay it longer than 3 years (or, at a stretch, 4 years), I think our team will lack a little speed.

High energy legs and lungs is what we need ( amongst other essentials like a keeper and a lock-picker). We run out do steam more so when Naismith and McCarthy are out. The obvious choice now, and 12 months ago was Is/was Fabian Delph. Slot-in for Gaz Baz. Failing that I'd still take a risk on Leroy Fer.
