..think so. The Mirallas situation is less desperate in that we have option of a further year on his contract. I wouldn't want to sell him unless he's a disruption behind the scenes and even then only for top dollar.

If Levy was selling, Miralles would be in the 15 million plus bracket. No way would it be a Lennon swap plus a few million.

Miralles has a contract until 2016 so EFC is no hurry to sort this one quickly.

Mirallas settling for Spurs would be an utter lack of ambition on his part. Could respect him moving on for genuine Champions League contenders, but all Spurs will give him is slightly more assured Europa League, more money, and a lucrative slice of a warm rotating bench.

True, but you dont want a player who's unhappy on your hands regardless of options for another year.

Let him go as long as it's on reasonable terms for us. Lennon plus £8M would seem fair, given that Lennon would probably fetch £7/8M.

I'd rather not sell any of our players to Spurs. It sets a bad precedent that they are a step up from us. I wouldn't have sold them Pienaar, I would have just let his contract run down.
