Martinez is in love with him and he will be on a free transfer, so you can almost guarantee that he will be at Everton next year. The problem is that this level of player is nowhere near the standard that is required to break in to the top four.

McGeady, Alcaraz, Kone, Besic, Cleverly; none are anywhere near good enough to be playing for a top four team.

Hopefully over time we will be able to replace these players with lads from the academy leaving us with more funds to buy the odd top quality player, if we're lucky a few of the academy players might reach this level as well.

Moyes bought a selection of players for below six million who were top four quality, most of them were sold on to top four clubs for 8 figure sums. One of them (Mirallas) is now making noises suggesting that he wants to leave for a champions league club, Martinez is planning to replace him with someone of McGeady, Cleverly or Kone standard.

Atsu is a odd one. He either isn't good enough or Martinez just likes him as a mate. I can't see Chelsea wanting him back if it's a season Loan. If he goes elsewere it's a position still we need to cover

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but if he is now playing Coleman as a winger then surely Martinez has realised that a winger is needed.

Jib Atsu back to Chelsea because he's just chewing up wages now, and loan or buy someone who will actually help the team.

Couldn't agree more unless he likes the idea of Coleman playing as a winger he has what it takes to score and create goals. That would mean a new right back and all the talk has been for Montoya from Barcelona 23 years old could be a permanent fixture for years to come

If Bobby is playing Coleman at Right Wing I think he sees there is a gaping lack of quality in the wingers position. Konoplyanka's agent mentioned we were in for him before in the summer and Jan last season. Could see us bringing him in to add that quality we need to the wings.
We also have loan spots I think we'll utilise.

Hes only 25 aswell in the last year of his cobtract can play down the left ir the right would be a great addition would rather have Deleafuo though haha

So would Ronaldo, Bale and Xabi Alonso.... yet they won't happen either. I'm not having a go at you personally if that how it sounds.

I'm just frustrated knowing that most probably we will have little, or no, movement this January apart from some youth or bargain deals.

How we're performing this season I think we would struggle to attract the quality we now strive for. That and lack of money.

Yet, we all know that we need someone who offers pace and width going forward, and a replacement for Distin and Alcaraz.

Lescott, Baines, Arteta, Jagielka, Coleman, Mirallas, Pienaar have all been good enough to play at top four level after being bought by Moyes. All were bought for less than 7 million as well, you will have to show me where Kev's 8 million transfer fee has been confirmed.

McCarthy was a good buy and he is top four quality. Lukaku looks like he has the potential to get to top 4 standard, and we have paid the price for his potential. But his other signings have been of lower mid table standard, and I don't think he is going to be anywhere near as good as Moyes in getting top four quality players at value prices.

Instead, I think he has a propensity to get a hard on over players that are average at best, and then tell us all that they are phenomenal. I bet you we ignore the likes of Delph and sign the likes of Cleverly.
