Bony drops far deeper than Lukaku does, he holds the ball up and brings other players into play. Bony would compliment Lukaku very well, imo.

Eto'o & Kone can do a similar job though.
Kone looked very good with his back to goal against Krasnador I thought

I think both of them are wank, to be honest.

Ummmm no.

Lukaku is often left isolated. Naismith does quite a good job of linking midfield with attack, but I think Bony would do a better job and bag more goals than Naismith. Personally, I don't think you can have enough strikers, and the RS showed just how damaging an ace striking partnership can be last season.

See where you're coming from but I don't think Martinez will change formation anyway, as much as I'd like us to play a diamond formation I don't see him changing from 4-4-2. Plus, I'd imagine Bony would probably see his next move as to a Champions League team. Naismith's a boss player to have imo and I think him being out has shown what we've missed.

If we have anything like 15-20m would should try and get Depay.. Him Barkley and Mirallas behind Lukaku would get Champions league..

I reckon him, Kjaer and maybe David Marshall or a different keeper should be our main targets over the next year. Doubt we could pull all 3 off but who knows.

Gutted that scouts are going to watch milan - napoli, they should watch a Genoa match, there is a target there i would really love us to scout.

@Del reluctantly agrees with my choice to keep the peace :D

I know im going to get a real bollocking for this but here goes, if we need to rebuild at least four positions, Goalkeeper, Centre half, Winger and another number 10, then would people consider selling someone like Barkley for decent money to bring in Marshall, Kjaer, Honda and Depay for example ?

Being realistic i doubt we could afford Depay on his own, and Kjaer was nothing special over 2 legs against us. There are better keepers out there than Marshal, plus his price tag will be inflated due to his few games of success in the league

Kjaer was easily man of the match at Lille, and Marshall too had a great game against us at Goodison, they wouldn't have had a chance of staying up without him.

I think that is a perfectly reasonable suggestion. The problem is that nobody wants to buy Barkley, not even for half the figures that he is supposedly being valued at. But for me, selling one player and replacing him with three quality players makes perfect sense.
