Hopefully the money is there from TV deals etc and we dont have to buy to sell any longer.

I dont think the problem with the Arteta fee was that it wasnt enough, PRETTY sure its what we did with it.
 
People saying about another winger- I can't see it happening. From the boards point of view we have Mirrallis, Pienaar, McGeady and Atsu.

Unless one leaves I can't see is getting another. I'd give Atsu back and try and get another even just on loan.
 
People are going to need to get used to the fact we aren't going to buy any major players in January, that isn't the way Roberto rolls.

However, I'd really like us to buy Perisic in the summer.

I'd let Atsu go and buy a young sexy pert bottomed winger of our own we can slowly integrate into the first team as we in tandem phase out Pienaar.
 

Heard from a very good mate of mine who doesn't get to find out much about transfers but when he does he's always spot on, that we do have money but Roberto would prefer to spend it in summer, however it's very likely that we'll sign Curtis Davies in January.

That would be nice. Like less than 10m and I'd be all over that shizzle.

Good defender him. Not much of a move for the future he's like 29 isn't he?

Any idea of the fee involved?

He's a bit older than is ideal but he's a very good defender. We'd need him for rotation and having some genuine quality rather than fading quality would be lovely.
 
Under £5m would be brilliant.
Anything more than that then id rather we went for Schaar or Nastasic. Schaar running out of contract in the Summer so could be available for cheap or precontract.
