No I agree. I hope Allardyce will help in this regard. I think he will be clearer and more flexible on taking lads in that bracket. I'm hoping this, alongside his good relationship with Steve Walsh should see recruitment greatly improved.
The difference for me now, is we look like we are trying to attract the best kids around and spending big Money the process.

Under Moyes it was cheap gambles. Martinez the same. Buys like Rodriguez & Tarashai and even Hennen who will never make imo. Some cheap ones have worked out like stones, holgate abd DCL.

But now we are competing with the best teams, in the last 18months 11mil lookman 10mil vlasic. 6mil Gibson 4mil bowler. The lad from Fulham not sure how much he was. And in the last couple of days linked with a centre back from Charlton. Great to see imo.

Allardyce pretty insinuated in his interview last night there is likely to be more people leaving than arriving.
He suggested new there was young foreign players getting frustrated. Anyone foreign without premier league exp. won’t get much game time under him now.
Vlasic, klaason and Sandro could be looking at the exit door - hopefully with loan moves within the epl. At least we can see what they are made of.
I can see mirrallas, besic, McCarthy, and a keeper all being shifted. Barkley prob gone too.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Mori would be used for left back cover. Would add to the airial threat at set pieces. Or John joe with Coleman back.
This will leave a squad of 25 competing for places.
We shouldn’t expect too many changes in january
Would be amazed if vlasic was let go. Only just turned 20 and has looked really good for me. When he’s had a chance.

I think January will be interesting and might tell us s lot about the future, does Moshiri think, With us now looking like getting to safety easy. That he will keep his money in his pocket, get rid of sam in the summer and give the new manager all the money.

A lot of people don’t realise that Walsh was brought in just for this purpose more than anything else. For this, I think he had done a fairly good job. The youth talent we brought in, if develope to their expected potential, we could have a squad worth 500m in a couple of years time. it’s about time people realise this.

Tarashaj does not belong in that category. he was a Swiss international player and highly regarded. It just seemingly has not worked out. To be fair to the bloke he has never been given a chance either.

He struggled to get a game on loan, I can’t remember where he went, but I don’t think it was a strong league. If you look at onyekuru who I forgot about. He’s doing really well compared to tarashai.

He was a Swiss international. And he was sort of highly rated.

That was what? 2-3 years ago. Probably best to let this guy go.

Think he was injured for the majority of the time he was in Germany, played a bit early on though and scored a great goal if I remember right

The way Sam was talking last night their may not be much incoming activity other than a foreward to support DCL!
January is a sellers market, and I'm yet to see an interview with Sam where he doesn't talk about having 30+ players in the squad, I wonder how many scouts have been lined up to watch Everton vs Everton today!

For me we have enough young kids, we need some experience to go with them, someone like Dzeko up front to help out DCL, Dzeko is over 30, so May only be here a few season, by which time DCL, should be more like the finished article.
