Someone should be put on suicide watch

Btw I think Big Sam would do well too but I still wouldn't want him. There's a reason why the fans always want him gone.
Ha Ha.

I'm not quite at that stage but the thought of it does make me sad. More sad than angry for some reason.

It depends, whoever we hire I think will need to follow a 'business plan' and having seen the disaster of Koemans signings I think that Walsh will be the main catalyst of signings in Jan (well I hope so).

Personally I feel Sessegnon for big money and his brother Stephen would be perfect for us. That way Baines can gradually lose his place at the end of the season.

As for Allardyce himself, I actually don't mind him and think hes had Bolton massively outperforming all the way through to saving rubbish teams from relegation.

Id prefer unsworth but with Allardyce I can see us having a really good team as long as he's told to bring through young players...

Allardyce plays % game to win...

I know this is the transfer thread Zat but?????

The Bolton team was 10 years ago, he left in 2007, on that basis Moyes would be a good idea based on his Everton team.

The rubbish teams he has saved??....
Palace- the budget they have and players like Benteke, Zaha, Cabaye, Sakho, Townsend, they should be in the prem, i guarentee Hodgson will do the same also.
Blackburn - finished he had one season in mid table, got sacked a point above the relegation zone, and they have gone in to free fall since
Sunderland - Yes he kept them up but in previous years Di Canio, Poyet & Advocat had done exactly the same thing- do you want Di Canio?
Newcastle - He signed Joey Barton, spent a fair amount of money and got sackled 6 months in. They got relegated the following season

Can you see a trend here? He leaves teams in an absolute mess!!!! He dosent have the clubs long term health in mind, it is all about how he does at the time, he fabricates how bad a situation the club was in before he came (similar to Harry Redknapp) and its a bonus to him if the club fails afterwards as he can blame it on him leaving were in reality he was part of these clubs downfall

And dont get me started on his son taking bungs, dropping players if they dont sign to his agent (Ravel morrison), and all the rest of the stuff.

He should be knowere near our club

Love that he complains when he doesn't get the throw in as well!

Players I would target:

Ones we can probably get:

Central Defender
Ben Mees, Burnley - Maybe should have bought him instead of Keane to be honest. Left footed defender who has played LB early in his career but has flourished under Dyche in the centre. There aren't many proven, left-sided defenders in the Prem who are in the prime of their careers (28 yrs. old). Contract expires at the end of the season, and will probably not re-sign. Go get him.

Centre Forward
Cyle Larin, MLS Orlando City - Young Canadian striker with height pace and power. An old-fashioned centre-forward. 6'2, 190 lbs. He likes to throw his weight around and battle with opposing defenders, wearing them down over the course of the game. He is good with his back to goal, but he is also a poacher, as his goalscoring record attests (43 goals in 87 appearances). Still raw, but loads of potential and enough experience to come in and contribute. MLS season is over and the January window is when they buy and sell.

Left Back
Jérôme Roussillon, Montpellier - France youth international at under-18 level. Powerful, physical, fast, intelligent, versatile, able to support the attack whilst not impeding on the balance of his defence and with decent technical abilities,

Matt Targett, Southampton - Backup material only, but has experience (40 senior matches for Southampton, 25 of which have been in the top flight). Not great going foward but knows how to tackle and has good stats in both tackles and interceptions. Maybe a loan instead of a buy.

Ben Mee is a good shout. Realistically if his contract is up we could get him for under £10 million.

Bomb Morgs (and McCarthy) out and bring in William Carvalho.

A new central defender and striker (obviously) too. Improve the spine of the team, as it's sadly lacking one at present.
