Think the days of signing a player who has one or two seasons left in him and is already on the downslide are gone mate.
And thank god they are too.
Not sure he has the legs anymore, but wonderful player.

A centre forward who knows where the onion bag is, Gomes and Zouma. Job done for this window.

Linked with dacoure again. Not been as his best this seaaon. Might get him for 35 million
Watford have gone off the boil a bit recently but they’re still having a very good season. They had a great start and a big part of that was Dacoure and Capoue in the middle. He’d be a very good buy but I’d clearly rather have Gomes out of the 2.

Gana has been exceptional this season.
Be madness to consider replacing him
That would seem to fit with how Gomes apparently looks to set up. 2 box to box players.

If we cant get Ndombele then just keep Gana alongside Gomes. Much pressing areas to strengthen than centre of midfield - notably up top and the right hand side.

He was ace last season. Like a big b@stard tackling everything then setting up attacks. Like a not as good Vieira from back in the day.
But been nowhere near as good this season.
