Erm no. There was text with a valid reason for their (obvious) omissions.

They werent signed by Silva/Brands hence the text stating it isnt known if the players not signed by them will be kept on in the future.

Brands and Silva wont just have a team in their heads for now e.g Coleman / walcott / keane /sigurdsson etc...they will look at the mid-long term so you simply cant state that those players not signed by them will be fixtures going forward...

Far more likely that the players signed by them will be part of the grand plan.

@Nymzee see there was text lol

Brisan the cost really isnt relevant...we have no idea on who Silva/Brands want to keep aside from their own signings.

The system were playing under Silva may not be the one he wants to implement long term or even beyond this season.

Where does the cost come from? £200mil?

Not relevant.

My point was that it is totally unknown which players Silva/Brands want to keep as per;

Pickford
??? ??? Mina Digne
???
??? ???
??? Richarlison Bernard
Beyond the above players, we have no idea what outfield players are considered fixtures.

As fans Sigurdsson and Gana may be considered as indispensible...Silva and Brands may see them totally differently...we dont know.
Honestly... you don’t half chat some wham

Like you I'm on this thread to stick my oar in where it's sometimes not wanted and to give my opinion on matters that concern me as a long standing season ticket holder with a lot of my life invested in this club as a supporter. If you don't like what I have to say then put me on ignore or get the mods to ban me for daring to give an opinion.

And who made you the gatekeeper of who can and can't 'contribute' to any thread concerning anything on got?

No I don't include Vlasic actually I was in the main referring to the likes of Mirralles and Williams who have shown their attitude and aptitude stinks the place out and are generally very good at being 'bad eggs' around the place. Both have been given further chances to prove their worth away from here and even given a heroes reception back in greece Mirralles failed to prove himself and as far as I'm aware they want rid as well.
Vlasic has had a raw deal over the time he's been here and often if not always told to do a job he's not suited to or built for. We signed him on the basis of that one good game he had against us as a free running midfielder where he kicked our butt for a lot of the game and since then had no opportunity to even try to reproduce that form.
I do realise the whole team struggled for obvious reasons last season and he unfortunately got in with the Mirralles 'gang' but I do hope his comments of late were just about his treatment last season. If he wants to continue his spat with the current leadership then he can do one as far as I'm concerned. He has no automatic right to get a first team start and like the others will have to knuckle down and play his way in when/if he returns. He is a quality player and is young enough to become a star but it's all down to him in the end. I have stood and clapped him off the pitch many a time and hope to do so in the future because our forward attacking play now would suit him down to the ground.

But it's Marcos rules and he has to follow them or like anybody who thinks they're too big for the club then it's on yer bike.

As for you I'll keep my mouth shut other than to say try putting your brain into gear before starting off replies in an aggressive manner in future.

Creature, you started off a post in THE January 2019 Transfer Window thread by saying -
'Don't think it matters who people want or would like in January and beyond anymore'.
As in the thread, and all the people who have been giving their views on who they would like to come in or out, are irrelevant. Fair enough.
To which I replied 'Why are you on this thread then?' - reasonable response, no gatekeeper here.

Btw, agree with you on Vlasic.

Fred is getting a lot of stick at United...could be an interesting player for us.

@BlueToff @bluestevon hows Paredes doing at Zenit?

Played well so far, but is getting slaughtered in the press atm over here for a pointless red card he got mate, all sorts of allegations he did so to be able to miss the next match against csk so he could go home to watch a Boca game...

Fred is getting stick because he’s been poor. What have you seen that makes him interesting?

Likely going from his form prior to his move. When he was superb - united and mourinho with that system really doesn't suit him at all.

Spot on stevon. Hed be great in ours.

Missing Vlasic's side CSKA ?

Zenit are walking the league it seems...good addition for us?

Hmmm, in theory yes he'd be good, in practise just get the feeling he's doing well cos of the standard/pace and he'd not translate that to over here.

Dunno if the stuff about him getting sent off on purpose ofc though is true, if it is which tbh it does look very dodgy given he'd pre booked the trip home etc prior to getting sent off - then I'd not go near him in a million years.

Fred is terrible and considering what they paid for him just a few months ago they won't be taking less than a solid 35 million. Even if he was decent he wouldn't be worth that. But as it is he's terrible.

In the right system.hes very very good, until he's played in that type of system it's hard to judge if he'd be able to adjust or not.

If he'd gone city btw, I'd bet anything he'd have been performing massively better. And would be the natural replacement t for fernandino.

Much like Gueye, he needs to be played as the sole player back there atm he's not being.

Would you pay £35mil for a Kante in DM or for Gomes?

Last season Fred was top class.

Yeah it looked like he would have been fernandinhos successor...bad move for him
