Fair enough and i see your point.

Personally i rekon hes quality and will bag 20 goals a season in our side, pace, strength, good in the air, sharp.

Maybe playing consistently would bring that but he currently isn't performing at a 20 goal a season level in City's team and they are certainly creating more than we are. The thing is he's 21 and he does have tons of talent so if he can turn that in to a bit more consistency and a bit more involvement in the general play he could still turn in to a special player. I just don't know that I'd take the risk.

Has anyone seen much of Miguel almiron?

I’m sceptical of the quality of mls but he looks really good, plus Donovan didn’t do bad when he was here so there must be the odd one that can make it in the premiership.

Does anyone else find it a bit weird that the majority of players we are linked with are attacking midfielders? We're pretty well stocked for that type of player but most days there's a new winger, playmaker, trequarista (for the hipsters!) etc.. linked.

Not really, i think if we do go after another forward type player it will someone like Richarlison who can play across the front line, i don't think we will sign another out and out striker like many on here want us too. I just think the game has changed a bit and if you play upfront you need to be able to interchange across the front line.
