Also, Idrissa Gueye is telling those close to him that he’s confident of completing his move to PSG. If that’s the case, I hope we have a replacement ready to bring in if that player is available.

I really hope we are not thinking of signing Soares from Southampton for the reported £15 fee. Used to think he was ok. But reading Southampton fans responses to his performances, most would happily drive him here themselves. Plus their manager apparently isn't convinced, wanting Bertrand to return after injury in his place.

Short term fixes are a waste of time. We're not going to do anything this season and Dzeko will be even older by next season. If we were pushing for the top 4 it might be worth it, but we need to look to the future, and that means young players.

If we were pushing top 4 we would already have a striker .
