People on social media scoffing at us for being linked with Ndombele because we're not City or Chelsea. I can understand why they are doing it but it wouldn't be THAT beyond the realms of possibility would it?
Ndembele is better than current Lyon but he still went there.
Any 3 from 4 of him, Gana, Gomes and Siggy is top 6 stuff mate. Especially if we can bring in Lozano to compliment the front 3 too.
He wasn’t when he first went on loan mate, trust me!

I would hope Gomes is the priority signing although that will probably have to wait until the Summer.
It would make sense to try and make a statement January signing, especially if we are in touch with the top 4.
Lozano or Ndombele would be excellent additions. I am sure Brands will have an idea of who we can target to make us stronger.
We still have alot of surplus players to shift too.
...not sure if all the South American leagues finish in December, but given most do along with Brands links to that market it might be where we do a bit of business in January.
I’d love a striker, Gomes perm, and a right winger at this point, unless we could play Bernard RW, then just a striker and Gomes)

He would be coming in as cover for Gana or Gomes you would imagine which is why the story doesn't seem plausible imo.
Only 2 possible scenarios at work here:
1. Its the club trying to push Gomes on making a decision to stay in fear of us looking elswhere
2. We want an upgrade on Gana in terms of Silva's style and he'll either drop to the bench or possibly move away to someone like PSG.
