Cleverley and Niasse are gone think we would have cancelled their slots in the FA squad list so no. 15 and 24 should be available now. Even before Schneiderlin took no. 2.
I'm sure Morgan said in an interview the reason he took no 2 was because the others available were too high (30+).

With a player with an ego such as Deeps, he'll probably want his first photoshoot showing his name and number on the shirt, I personally think it's quite plausible that he's waiting for 7 tbh. I know it sounds trivial to us, but these are footy players. Egos rule them most of the time. Especially when they were hyped up and their 'potential' gained them a high profile move to Man Utd only 6 months ago.

i still can't believe that our famous no 9 shirt is still wasted on Kone! we've the best goal scorer we've had since the 80's and Kone still has the No 9.

Maybe no.7 is available if Del goes perm to Milan not on loan then.

...just reading his agent saying we have been looking at him. I suppose there's no major urgency to get a keeper in now if our main targets are not yet available.

Agreed mate - I think Robles seems to be growing in confidence and ability also with his latest run of games. Hopefully with a better performing team and more stable defence in front of him then that can only help.

I remember on Champ Manager when signing a world class defensive midfielder in January but some crap defender already had the number 4 shirt. Agonizing over whether to swap them over but no. What of that one kid who'd gotten crap defender number 4 on his replica shirt, could I live with his mates further slagging him that said player not only can't get a game but now he wears a different number?
No, I just gave my new signing a number in the 20's and fretted about it for the rest of the season before changing in the summer.

Despite all the above I somehow doubt that Depay's potential move is being held up over effing shirt number!!!

...I wouldn't for one moment think Depay has given any thought to what number he'll be wearing at his next club. I suspect Deulofeu's transfer is dependent on Depay (or somebody else coming in) rather than the other way around.
