Haven't Milan just been taken over?!

In the process of it I believe. Inter Milan have been taken over recently. Milan are skint, the directors/owners have pumped a lot of money into the club over the years, many have flopped, see Gilardino, Oliveira, balotelli and Pato as examples, costing a few quid.
They have the upkeep of a 80,000 stadium where they only get about 30-40k a week. Bigger games edge towards 60-70k if your lucky.

I don't think Owners who are looking to sell, would buy players for £10m upwards and maybe the new owners might have other ideas on targets.

The wages won't be like peanuts. His wages still are part of the budget of this club. It is hard to get rid of him and Koeman needs every bit of the money available to sign his players.

Bad deal for us it won't happen. McCarthy worths £15m plus. Lamine Kone can go down with Sundeland not worth £25m. Just go for Van Dijk.
