In terms of a gk I think we should consider Pickford he is class and only gonna get better with age. An a cb is a must so vvd manolas or gimenez will make me happy. We look strong ATM but one injury and that goes out the window so get them signed now

We weren't linked to Lukaku until about 3 hours before he signed.

At the moment, the squad is in a good place. Players are starting to play to their ability and the deadwood is being moved out.

Still improvements to be made. Confident we'll get at least one in.

My fear is that we are an injury away from the worst attack in the division. We also need somebody to replace Del with Bolasie out. Same with Jags if he goes.

And we're still crying out for a player wuth real vision and guile who will take some responsibility off Ross and help us break down packed defences.

Apart from CM our squad is quite thin.

Hart makes some great saves but cannot catch a ball, does not command his area and is a poor distributor of the ball.
The trouble in evaluating how good a keeper is most people think only about saves, but that is only one part, granted an important part.
However, Joel for example, killed off the game for us only one great save but n a series of excellent catches, that visible deflated Palace.

Joel has been brilliant when called upon, so no complaints. If he could keep this form/consistency up then we might have a very good keeper right under our nose.
