VVD I totally agree on. I would even go as far as saying we need a young CB in too (23/24) to grow into Williams role.

I have a feeling I know who we will go for that role. In the summer though. Not yet.

I have seen some articles that we are going to be "battling" Liverpool for him. Just wondering if anyone has watched anything on him or seen him in matches.

Batshuayi has not impressed me though. Looks a bit lightweight in a very strong Chelsea set up.

Averages less than a goal every 90 mins across all comps this season. He'd be a good foil for Rom and they're probably mates from the Belgium squad.

I would like VVD plus one from Keane, Gibson or Maguire. A ball player, a big British grok and Holgate in a 3.
With Williams and Funes Mori as squad and rotation.
They would all get game time.
