Thought Walshy was supposed to find us some boss players of togger that nobody else has found yet? Everybody knows who Henri Lansbury is and not one club has even attempted to sign him in the 4-5 seasons he's been at Forest. He isn't even anywhere near the best midfielders in that league.

Anyone expecting top players to come in in January need to rattle their heads, hardly any decent deals are done in the winter transfer window.

....as far as I know we aren't linked with Lansbury. I understand Walsh also likes Messi.

Van Dijk, Strootman and Sigurdsson would do nicely. Back 4 is stronger, midfield is stronger and Gylfi can add to the attack or cover Rom in a pinch. Plus the wages would be feasible... If Ron can work Depay on loan to cover Bolasie at afcon all the better.

Then address keeper, wing and a true backup striker in the summer.

We were told there was 75 to 100 to spend over the summer, and since we did not spend it....seems now is the time so as not to waste the Stones sale.

In reality we will get the equivalent of Alcaraz, and Niasse and recall McGeady.

Nobody credible told us we had 75/100 million to spend. It was paper talk. Although I do think that Moshiri will spend if Walsh/Koeman ask.
