As far as a blueprint is concerned, Spurs and Leipzig have both provided a pretty decent sketch. Neither is a perfect match, but there's enough in common to say, "Hey, this kind of works!"

Would sell MCarthy and odder Burnley 22m and jags father r Keane. If they say no so be it, but if they say yes, all the better.

Can't fault either Jags or Jimmy for wanting to play.
 

Looks like were done. My analysis is thus fwiw. The window has been OK. Think not getting another striker is a gamble should rom break. However, I do think there may be some truth in Ronalds youth comment, maybe he has been taken aback by the quality. I think what this is coupled with though is the quality of player available in this window is not deemed urgent or of sufficient quality to move us any further up the league this season than where we are. So why not give youth its head. I think there is money sat in the pot waiting to be spent but theyre keeping the powder dry till summer. throw in next seasons budget on top and have a good run at it. 1 September 2017 is when to judge how serious moshiri, walsh Koeman are as a unit.

and the window is going exactly how i thought it would pan out, after an initial spending spree, we would struggle to get deals done for a plethora of reasons. im happy enough, some of the absolute dross we have been linked too has been scary. even tho we seem to have a little bit to spend we arent just splashing it out willy nilly and doing a RS, filling our squad with utter jarg foreign mercenaries.

imagine actually paying decent money for a new left back in the calibre of alberto moereno!

I think this is more or less the situation. No desperate need to spend right now. Will probably get seventh spot without needing to spend anything else, unlikely to get sixth.
Why overspend in this window when most good players aren't available? we can wait to summer.
