I really think this is a situation of the club (EFC) not been arsed either way tbh.

We'd happily keep Jimmy Mac and if he plays like he has in his last three games for us, sound.

Thing is, he just seems to keep picking up little niggling injuries. And really the only way to get over that and find form is by playing regularly, something that we just can't offer him at this moment, even though he'd be excellent back-up.

So, if Newcastle or Palace or whoever really want him, as you say, we just wait it out. I don't even reckon he really wants to go - by all accounts he enjoys it here - but knows that for the good of his own career he may have to.

Heard that he's getting offered close to 100k if he does go to Newcastle mate - thats a huge increase and for a side that looks like it will go up as well, their willing to pay those kind of wages to get him, then they will be willing to go above the reported offers on a fee

The statement is simply that we are not tolerating some of the dross that we have in the past and they are being shown the door - that will do for a starter.
