How many times has Gibson played in the last 2 years? And yet he needs replacing?

52 League games since he joined, average of 10 a season. A true waste of space in every single sense of the word.

We already have Barry, Davies, Gana, Schneiderlin, Barkley (can fit in) and McCarthy. We don't need another centre mid.

Very decent choices for centre mid it has to be said.

Antonee Robinson can play LB and I'm sure Matthew Pennington hasn't gone anywhere, he can cover at RB.

No way Koeman will just throw in untested young kids. Davies and Holgate were close to the first team towards the end of last season. If Baines is injured, Funes Mori even Barry probably play there which isn't good. We got to bring in a LB backup if Oviedo is sold.

6 months ago I would have pushed for Kone if we were selling Oviedo and Gibson to Sunderland. Unconvinced now though.

Heard that he's getting offered close to 100k if he does go to Newcastle mate - thats a huge increase and for a side that looks like it will go up as well, their willing to pay those kind of wages to get him, then they will be willing to go above the reported offers on a fee

Yep. My point exactly.

If he goes. Fair enough. We'll get a good fee for a player who is only back-up now, and even though he could still certainly be useful for us, I'd wish him all the best.

True but is he a starter at U23? Don't hear much about him.

He starts most weeks and has put in a number of good performances. Although it's not hard too in the 23s.

He's very good and he's more attacking than defending. Should Baines get injured, he could fill in as the attacking left side in our 3-4-3

Yea and Lookman too Friend but they are bought by Koeman not academy players who never made a first team appearance for the club.
