I'm not sure on names, but I have been told we are trying to get a striker and a CB that is based in the UK over the line.

I'd imagine that VVD won't be sold in January soo i'd hazard a guess at Keane. Will see if I can get more info over the next few hours.

Why don't we sign Begovic? He said he wants to leave, probs not too expensive now, not too old either... idk.

Only issue I have is that Niasse and Cleverley will almost certainly end up back with us in the summer. Can we please get Kone off the books too? Is that asking too much? I'm glad he has. Maybe it was strategy. In a few months We've gone from being a club that everybody knew were suddenly loaded AND desperate (a bad starting combo for a good deal) to a club that isn't obviously splashing cash, and is publicly prepared to walk away from a deal if it isn't good enough.

Good management if you ask me.

We've swerved wingers altogether, we need another striker - something we've been after all window.

We aren't playing a formation that needs wingers at the minute so I suspect priorities have shifted.
