Wage bill won't be down.

Remember in the summer @The Esk went through STCC rules and said we would have to make a profit from a sale to enable us to increase our wages significantly. That profit from the Stones sale has sailed away now.

Come this summer we will be able to increase wages by 7 million ( Premier league STCC rules for TV money ) plus increase in commercial revenues, with the new sponsorship let's say an extra 7 million.

Come summertime if we want to spend big and afford the increase in wages we need to sell someone like Barkley to comply with STCC.

Never thought for one minute that selling stones was for ffp and the increasing of wages the lad wanted to go and the club happy with he fee and the same thing will probably happen with rom in the summer

What about new contracts for existing players, that will be a big chunk.

Schneiderlin will be close to 100K, Barkley will no doubt sign a new contract.

We have wasted the sale of Stones, it's disappointing.

You are not considering the players on loan that will "bump" up our STCC levels in the summer, coupled with the money from the sales of Jags, McCarthy and Lukaku, plus the vastly improved commercial deals, STCC will be the least of our worries this Summer.
