He's played about 80 minutes of football for us this season and Everton are strongly linked to him. With Koeman being his ex manager at Southampton and getting great performances out of him I think the rumours about Everton going after him are pretty strong

He has been left out out of our past 3 or 4 squads with journalists saying Mourinho doesn't want to ruin a deal for him leaving by getting injured.

I appreciate the links but it doesn't really mean we are "very, very likely " to get him, didn't the same media insist Schweinsteiger would leave because Mourinho froze him out and there was no takers.

Where's Joyce gone to now? I know he's left the Express.

Anyway, newspaper Journos who have a shred of reliability with EFC ongoings as it stands:

- Joyce (the best for EFC. If it's from him, it'll be true)
- Hunter (Guardian. See above)
- King (Mail. Not as sourced as the above but still good)
- Ed Aarons (called the Bolasie deal. Definitely has sources in the midlands as well which is probably why he knew about the Walsh ongoings)
- Tony Barret (probs spelt his name wrong)

Winter usually only writes stuff that's true. Won't put his name to anything dodgy. His ego is too big.
