We are a point off 7th, which is normally good enough to qualify for the Europa, plus we are still in the FA Cup, the season isnt over till we cant get 7th and are out the FA Cup, only then can we declare the season over. I mean im gonna be honest, cant see us winning the League, tbfh.

I wasn't expecting much from this season anyway and not much has changed in that regard. I don't rate Koeman if I'm honest, but I recognise that if he has a vision, it will take a lot longer than half a season to take root. Europa would be a bonus, FA Cup incredible, but neither of those would be bare minimum requirements in my eyes. Make some more signings like Gueye, get the team showing some desire, offload Rom and I'll be happy.

Jermain Defoe is the one I'd go for. Short term but perfect for Rom. An old fashioned pienaar esque left mid too though they do seem out of fashion. Keep McCarthy and besic fit and we are OK for now in the middle

Lots of handy little players we could snatch from teams fighting relegation, actually. Siggy, Mahrez, Payet, Schmeichel, Zaha, Heaton...

Yah but you just explained why probably won't get any of them. There doesn't look to be a Villa this year so they'll all be fighting for their lives to stay up
