When Moyes 'played' him wide, the call was for him to be played central.
Since then he's played central. Now the call for playing wider?
What's wrong with him just having the ball, wherever it takes him?
He sits quite deep for both Southampton and France in that video, the parts where he's in possession mostly see him playing balls out to the wing from deep. A few little bits of tekkers, particularly against Utd. He does look to go forward from this video, but again sideways and backwards passes don't make it off the editing floor.
If we do sign him I hope he is amazing.

Hes defo a DM, rather than a CM, but he does get up and down, I think at Saints he was seen as more of the sitter, you would maybe think here he would be the goer and we would play with Gana as the sitter, but it depends on many things, if he was to play with Davies for example they might switch, but he will on the whole play as a DM.

Buy all the pacy wingers you want. Lookman will go the same way as Lennon Deulofeu and Mirallas unless we get someone in midfield who can control the tempo of a game and release them into space with the correct balls at the right pace. Slow crab like passing kills wingers no matter how good they are.
