He was, lost a lot of possession in dangerous areas but in general he is a very intelligent footballer.

I think all three were actually good signings at the time - and still could be.

We needed a younger left sided defender who could play from the back - Mori.
We needed a strong leader who is a solid player to stabilise us after RM - Williams.
We also needed a young pair of fresh legs in the middle to compliment barry's ageing legs - McCarthy.

All needed at the time and they weren't exactly costing us a fortune. Niasse for £14m is a different story.

More of a comparision of the type of player each is mate, if either reaches there levels then we will be lucky and winning leagues again

In all honesty I think he'll be alright. From now to the end of the season if he's sub, comes on gets some minutes, changed a few games maybe scores or assists the odd goal and beds in that will be great.
