it takes us 2 weeks minimum to get transfers over the line. lookman will go on till this friday maybe next, then the board can concentrate on the snides for the following 2 weeks.

that'll be our 2 signings

some Spanish paper stuff

"

"

Basically saying talks have stalled, and that we want to sell him with an option to rebuy......doubt that very much.

Saying Nzonzi turned us down. He would be amazing, but doubt we would have a chance if he moves. Close to being the most consistent and in-form midfielder in La Liga right now.

So, complete guff, but from another country.

Now I'll start doing some work.

Nah Lookman will unveiled before tonight ;)

Honestly haven't seen enough of either to have much of an opinion on them mate

I've seen Keane play more than Boro and I work with a few Burnley fans and they all rate him highly (and they don't rate any of their other players bar Heaton and Defour).

A 'no nonsesne' style but with a bit more craft and pace than somebody like Shawcross.

Gibson reminds me a lot of a younger Jagielka. I remember watching him at Oakwell for the U21s in summer 2015, when he played alongside Stones, and he really impressed then.

Fair enough mate, just like to see us have a really good quality long term partner for Williams with a bit of pace whose good in the air really.

Keane is your man then (realistically) though in fairness a summer move would be much more likely.

Quick enough on the deck, decentish on the ball when required and he's won the most headers in the Prem this season.

Gibson has impressed me too. Also think that when you switch to a 3 at the back, it's important to have a natural left footer on the left of that back 3. Chelsea, for how well they are drilled seem to have the channel between Cahill and Alonso as the area where they are weakest - some of that I put down to Cahill being a little less competent on his left side than ideal, some of it because Alonso is arguably the weakest player in their XI.

We have RFM who does that for us, but he's never going to convince me, I don't think. Gibson would be a significant upgrade there.

Personally, I'd like to see Jags and RFM both leave in the summer and Keane (or ideally VVD) replace him and Gibson replace RFM.
