...I agree about his touch, MG. if it's true he could be seen in the same supporting role as Calvert-Lewin.

I would imagine he would look very comfortable on the wings or even up top/ in the hole supporting Rom.

Theres every chance he would flop, big time, but I just liked something about him, maybe his height and how comfortable he is on the ball, I dunno, he charmed me.

....I fear he lacks pace and acceleration. Very tall and skilfull by the looks of it. Wouldn't be a busy type of forward but perhaps he's seen as a foil for Lukaku in a similar way to how Pelle was used at Southampton.

Seen him a few times for Standard. He has good pace and acceleration and is strong. I don't view him as a real striker; he runs everywhere. He never stops running, people will love him. The few matches of him I saw he was streaky; like he tries for 60 minutes, is quite average for that time frame. Plays absolute crap passes (like the first ball contact of Niasse) and crap free kicks. He lacks a bit of oversight also imo. Then he switches on and he goes into boss mode for 15 minutes or so, which is fun to see.

He also argues with opposing fans on the pitch sometimes.

He'll leave Standard. Don't know if he'll be going to Everton though. Today there was an interview in the newspaper with the Director of Standard; he said that at this moment he'll be staying 100 percent sure because there have been no bids yet. Immediately after however he added :"however we don't want to stand in the way of guys who can improve themselves and have shown respect for the club." They said West Brom, Celta and Everton were interested.

...personally couldn't see him on the wing as he doesn't look mobile enough to run the whole channel. I can see him drifting out there and being effective.

...very good insight. Thanks for that. Just shows how YouTube only gives you part of the picture, @MoutsGoat could we'll be right in his assessment.

yeh maybe.

I'd rather us spend the £22mil agreed in principle with United first though.

Also, you repeat the same point constantly. You're like a poor man's Davek.

Do you blame me? Making world record 60 million pound bids for the world's elite footballers is a big deal to most Evertonians. I can't wait for us to do it again sometime.

to be fair, it isn't like saying giant bids on players because we are rich but the transfer falling through and the money never getting spent is not something we do as a club.

Nor do we have the expert in phantom bids heading up our transfer delegation team.

So don't know what you are worrying about here tbh.
