Tbh I think it is because the players fear their fans. Quite a fiery bunch. I've seen matches there, brilliant atmosphere but sometimes they go over the top. They make the stadium shake. Lots of smoke-bombs... They'll probably will be slapped with another empty stadium sanction next week for yet another infraction...

For an ex player (Defour now plays for Burnley) who went to play for the rival team they made this:

Defour out
Voorhees in?

I like Schneiderlin, but it does suggest the size of the gulf between us and the top 6. When the 7th placed team are expecting him to be our best midfielder, yet he can't get near the squad of the team in 6th.

It's about building a team to suit your needs rather than the individuals themselves. Chelsea have victor moses and alonso has wing backs, James Milner at left back for the RS

On the flip side, non of the so-called top six took a punt on Gana Gueye and we're generally pretty to very happy with him.
;)

I think it's more about Mourinho trying to stamp his own identity on Utd, and MS just didn't fit into that, or wasn't a fashionable enough name? His displays at Southampton suggest he was good enough to be on the bench there easily, all the better for us though, our best CM signing in ages.

Didn't think much of the atmosphere at all mate. They were loud but it was all very rehearsed. Bit like that shower

I don't think you can look at it like that. Could have said the same about lukaku, de bruyne etc.
