Kessie in with McCarthy and Cleverley out would be our midfield sorted for years to come.

McCarthy to West Brom for the £18m they bidded for Morgan, and Cleverley to Newcastle for the £30m they mugged Spurs off for Sissoko lol.

Depay on a loan with a view to buy, Berahino for £10m, and Manolas for £28m would be a complete window.

Kessie bid seems very unlikely due to Chelsea having a €20m knocked back reportedly so what's a €17m and €18m bid going to do ?

On another note I read somewhere that Italian clubs are operating a English tax on their players and are unwilling to sell to English clubs.

There seems to be alot of Italian clubs who are getting their bids knocked back to by EPL clubs too so maybe some retaliation going on there ?

We currently dont have to abide by FFP rules as we are not in Europe.

STCC rules suggest we can spend another 47m on wages.

From what @The Esk and a couple of other finance bods were saying, it was a £7mill increase on last years wages + non broadcasting revenue (Stones sale), so in theory, we can up our wages by £55mil.......whoo hoo.

If we dont use this increase by this summer are we only allowed another £7mill on top of this years wages? If so, we need to get our high earners in this month.

Think that striker , Belfodi ( excuse the spelling ) could be in next and think he will want another winger in .. Depay a possibility obviously but wouldn't rule out a move for Quincy Promes ... playing in the Russian league ... I know or certainly read that few clubs looking at him . Dutch national aswell ..

No after we get support/back up for Lukaku we need a CB. I think We need a speeder younger partner for Williams with Mori as back up. Then that would free up Jags going to join up with Moyes. I just have a feeling we could go for Fonte which isn't progress it would be like replacing Jags with Jags.

I think lookman may be the Bolasie replacement, giving Korman a chance to recruit elsewhere.

Top quality CB for me to put FM down the order. Then someone to support Rom, either from the start or if we need a goal.

Koeman's choice if he wants a new AM/10 or winger/support striker will tell us his long term plans for Ross.

GK will wait till the summer I reckon. Although wish we'd have sorted long term, last summer - big slip up, that.

If you ask me, I would be going all out for magic, whether thats on the wing or somebody in the hole or up top with Rom, just magic.

Then probably a CB and if possible a GK, the GK issue isnt major in my eyes, its also a very difficult window to do that sort of business.

Just read this. Difference between Kante and Ndidi? Kante is far better defensively (no surprise) but Ndidi has bags of potential.

I'd like to see us grab Franck Kessie from Atalanta. Beast of a player.

Every league is putting an Premier League tax on their players, similar to the extra £10mill 'homegrown' tax added on in this country.

Considering there isnt much money about in the other leagues, I would have thought Atlanta couldnt turn down £20 - £25mill bids if they come.

With the bolaisse injury surely Lookman isn't a automatic starter that's why I said I think he'll bring in Winger ... agree with CB point ... Fonte and Williams in the centre ... I'd worry about there age and obviously coming up against speedy strikers etc

Agree with most of this, apart from I cant see us shifting 2 CBs this window, even if we sign another, oh and also we defo arent signing Alan.

If we get someone of really top calibre in mate then I could see us trying to flog mori to part fund it. Depends I suppose how much depth koeman wants there if we'd let two go though.

As for the boy from Beslan, my gut instinct is it'll be something we take a punt on late in the window, its a deal that with walshes connections we could conclude I think relatively quickly. Think he could be a dallvack option for that reason.

Then again after the initial links its gone awfully quiet which probably suggests I'm way wide of the mark, shame like as he'd be a natural fit for what koeman wants and cheap as chips.

On a small fee of around £10-12 million he would be a good signing. Would easily be a 10-15 goal a season striker coming off the bench/rotating with Rom. Suprised that we haven't gone for him tbh.

He's out of contract at the end of the season. I think he would be a great addition to our squad. People are saying he's got a poor attitude, but weren't tat down to broken promises from the WBA chairman? Offer WBA £4mil. Be a good player, plus only few years ago spurs wanted him for £20mil.

These Kessie drums seem to be beating quite loud at the minute, I would be shocked if we had any interest in the boy.

Yeah, we're probably not far apart. I'd prioritise the CB, but that's cos I've got a longstanding distrust of FM.

Then, yeah, quality in the final third, however he slots it in (ooh, er). Trying to fit new quality in alongside Ross will be his challenge.

A Mata/silva/coutinho type player is what we've been crying out for for a decade.
