Nah mate, the way we are looking to shift a lot of players out still, does seem to hint we are trying to get rid of dead wood and create some space in the squad for ones to come in

Personally as excited about Hirst arriving (if he does) as anything else really, very good signs if the club are trying to bring in really promising young lads from the lower leagues (and shows an ongoing commitment to strengthen our youth teams and Unsworth)

Do wonder if the VVD injury will see us given a nice excuse to not bring a cb in as looks bloody obvious he would have been the one Koeman wanted most - still deffo need one though and another option up front/out wide

We have no more press conferences now do we before deadline? Perhaps this is why we went out the cup, Koeman doesn't have to make a story up before the weekend about signing players if we aren't active anymore.
