Like the player. Quick, good feet, decent cross. Needs to work on his positioning a bit maybe but he’d be a great signing to compete with Digne and sure up that side.

We won't buy more than 1 CM as we have two (hopefully) quality midfielders returning from injury for next season, plus Delph and no doubt Davies who will still be here for a few years. That's 5 CM including a new signing. Schneiderlin is also under contract and unlikely to find a buyer with his wages.

Winger would be great, but I can see both Bernard and Walcott staying with us. Also Iwobi is here for 4 years and if Ancelotti isn't playing with a number 10 then his best position for us becomes on the wing. I would like a quality right winger brought in though, but that can wait until the summer. Sidibe seems to be able to play effectively there.

Left back is probably our area of least concern as Baines has proven he's still capable and Digne will be quality with better players around him.

Striker is obvious as every side needs multiple players who can hit 10/15 goals a season.

But we have that. DCL and Richarlison are both going to hit double digits.

I meant more long term our transfer priorities should be along those lines. Obviously that can't happen in January.

My thinking is we need a 4th CB and then need to replace Keane. We need to totally rebuild the midfield. We have a lot of bodies but none of them are looking good enough. The wingers we have stink. Bernard and Iwobi haven't shown the end product to be guys who start 30 games in a season. And we need to replace Baines at some point.

After all that maybe we can look for striker depth. But when Richarlison and DCL have been two of your 5 best players and you spent a healthy sum on Kean who hasn't had many chances you really don't need to be looking to add to that. Build everything else first.
