.....and now the end is near, here’s the Toffee transfer update for Tuesday morning, 28th January;
- According to Tuttosport, Everton are very serious in their pursuit of Inter Milan midfielder, Matias Vecino. They say Inter have dropped their asking price from an initial €25m to €20m, and The Toffees have submitted a €14m bid. The 28 year Uruguayan has given his consent to the move, it’s now a question of the clubs agreeing a fee. Calciomercato reporter, Fabrizio Romano, says the asking price is a negotiable €25m.
- Gremio Director, Klauss Camara, has repeated there has been no offers for attacker, Everton Soares. Globo Esporte suggest the Toffees have not submitted a bid because they are having trouble with Financial Fair Play. Everton has reported a big loss and can’t spend much on players. If the Brazilian can’t make the switch, Everton will try again in the summer, with negotiations being handled by agent Giuliano Bertolucci, who worked on the deals for Richarlison and Bernard.
