This is pretty accurate. January is hard enough (you end up with Tosuns and that’s it) - but convincing people to come is an astronomical task for a marcel brands that is losing his credibility.
 
Are there any half decent fighting midfielders anywhere? Longing for the days of Joe Parkinson, Lee Carsley... and that says it all as we were utterly dog dirt in that era and are supposed to be on the up now, yet are worse than we've been in 30 years.

Don't think he has any credibility any more. How A Director of Football can sell the club's best midfielder, replace him with a complete unknown, then fail to sign a third centre half and completely ignore the fact we STILL have no proven striker... that's almost criminal. Then goes on to throw a 3 year deal at a proven crock in Delph and panic buy the bang average Iwobi for about two times his actual value. Brands has been a compete and utter farce. As bad if not possibly worse than Walsh.

In his defence, we really did try and get these players signed in the summer but were held to ransom or could not complete deals. Zouma and Zaha spring to mind straight away.
 
Mitrovic from Fulham, he would teach Kean the ropes, a central midfielder with pace, strength and the ability to not always be injured and a strong, fast centre half.
Next season look for a commanding goalkeeper, I've had it with Pickford, we could have played with 11 outfield players last night and it not made a difference, I mean five shots on target five goals, must be a world record that.
 

Priority is this guy...

Swap deal with DCL and we may be able to get a deal over the line. This guy will save us he's a top draw striker...look at his stats.
