Got a source for that as I reckon it's pure nonsense. The boy is clearly not well, both physically and mentally to the point where he has been removed from the country and taken abroad to recover and is being chaperoned by 2 Utd staff members. People need to just let him get better in his own time, a move to any club is not going to help him and certainly not to a basket case of a setup like ours.

Oh that's sad for him , hope he gets the help he needs.

We joined the race in the summer ?. Journalist sounding like we’ve never been interested in the past.
If it wasn’t for Ajax blocking the move, he’d probably already be here. Can’t see how Ajax stance has changed, unless they get a ridiculous offer.

…or they asked him to stay but would let him go in January. None of us know what’s really going on.

I take issue with the bold. Whilst our position in the table is rough there is real unity at all levels of the club, fans too, and this is the most connected I’ve felt to Everton in years. I don’t think we’re a basket case anymore we’re just a bit poo for now.

Take issue all you want but we have been this way for a long time and nothing has changed. Unity means sod all if you can't produce the goods when it matters (which we can't) The fanbase is really not what I would call unified either, just look at the 27 years stuff and you can see that. Whilst I don't agree with the way they go about stuff we have sections of the fanbase having a go at other fans who want better for the club. As for our position in the table it's like that because we have a manager who is massively out of his depth and his experienced backroom team seem to be about as useful as a chocolate teapot. These signings in the Jan window need to be 100%, A grade, absolute guaranteed to make a difference otherwise I really do think it will be our year this year.
