Well, as ive said, we did name 25 players in September, so if nothing else we need to get "make room", yes im aware that the Keeper we got is out of contract in 2 weeks also.

So thats 2 spaces at the very least.
Is that not for godfrey and towsend? Were they not left out of the squad?

Nope. I keep forgetting that Allan was sold after he was named, so when Jakupovic leaves, we will have 3 spaces, we could always "remove" Crellin as well if we needed the space.

Everton remain interested in Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson ahead of the January transfer window, it has been suggested.

The Blues were linked with Jackson during the summer but a deal for the forward failed to materialise as he remained put in Spain.

A latest report by the Daily Mail has claimed Everton, Bournemouth and Newcastled have 'expressed interest' in the 21-year-old, who made one substitute appearance for Senegal at the World Cup.

Jackson has a £27million buy-out clause, should the Blues wish to trigger this option.

Have you spojen to Sarr,???interviewd him.
If a qualified, registered journalist simply makes up things they can,are sanctioned.
Sport, politics , Foreign Affairs , there is a code.
I realise Fake news exists!!The Boot Room is widely read in football, fans, players ,coaches.
I agree, he may not have said it.
If it was me, id tell my agent to sort it, get it corrected.
Not simply leave it out there.

£35million is a lot of money!!its a serious budiness a transfer, going to a club.
Take your point, but question marks ??

I dont know if youre being serious. A journo saying he thinks Sarr will think he is too good for Everton is just as credible as me saying I reckon I had a chance to go pro had there not been a chippy round the road.

And his agent won't be able to correct anything if its regarded as opinion... and thats all it is mate.

Different opinions, respect yours.!!My lads a top professional sportsman.Hed be onto his agent immediately , so would i.
Sarr must have read it, been told about it.
But they live in fairy tale worlds.Rondon ??how much a week, Deli Alli , Tosun, Mina,Delph , Besic, i could go on.
Fantasy wages world Everton.
£35million for Sarr, (lets assume we are not big enough for him).

Any chance we could join the race like, now? You know, get the ball rolling before the window actually opens like everyone else seems to do? I suspect we won’t do that and will submit a bid with 5 days of the window remaining.

….I don’t think anybody truly knows where we are in respect of individual enquiries. If we have any chance of landing Kudus I’d think we’ve kept in touch with him & his representatives since summer.
